Welcome to the Nightmarket
The Nightmarket is an outdoor bazaar where the monsters, witches and other creepy creatures meet to buy, sell and trade things. This event is a live-action role playing opportunity in a spooky low-fantasy festival/marketplace environment.
The Backstory:
Nightmarket started in 2023 as our family’s private Halloween party in the woods. The idea was simple - where would the monsters go to shop and socialize? We set up some booths on each side of a trail creating a rustic street market setting and let our guests take turns running booths, shopping, solving mysteries, going on quests, hanging out by the campfire, sipping hot cider and enjoying music. If that sounds like your kind of event, join us!
For Nightmarket 2026, you can expect -
Delicious drinks (like a cauldron of hot spiced cider and cold drinks) and tasty foods
Actual vendors selling actual products and chances for you to role-play a vendor “selling” in-game items

We intentionally took advantage of the way Halloween fell on this year’s calendar. Our event is Sunday, November 1st so you can still hit Halloween events and parties on Friday and Saturday, and keep your spooky weekend going into Sunday night with our event.
Not only are we encouraging fun costumes, but you'll be encouraged to try different roles at the market. You can just walk around and shop or play games. If you want to take a turn running a fortune telling booth or selling potions, go for it!
If you already have medieval or renn faire clothes, please wear them. We are hoping everyone will dress to "blend in" to a medieval, low-fantasy or renaissance landscape. You can also dress to "stand out" while staying on-theme (be a witch or goblin or something).
Can we bring kids? Teens and middle-schoolers would fit right in, but this may be a little scary for the younger ones. We wouldn't recommend this event for elementary school kids and younger ones. All participants must buy a ticket.

Logistics:
1. Food and drinks will be provided. Please let us know if you have any food allergies. We'll have themed food and drink (like a cauldron of hot spiced cider, creepy cocktails, roasted sausages and plenty of snacks).
2. Costumes required.
3. This event will run from 3 pm to 9 pm on Sunday, November 1st, 2026.
POLICIES FOR ALL CLASSES
No Refunds - We have a strict no refund policy for all purchases. Please make sure you are available for the event date and you are certain of your intent before you purchase. If you are purchasing with someone else’s credit card (like a work credit card or family member’s card), make sure you are authorized for the purchase. Again, we will not refund any purchases.
One-time Transfer - We do allow a one-time-only transfer for each event purchase. In the event that you cannot attend the event you purchased, you’ll have ONE CHANCE to transfer to an equal value event - if you notify us at least 24 hours before the event starts. Notification can be made by email, text or phone call (our phone number provided upon enrollment) and must be confirmed by event staff to be valid for transfer. If you contact us with fewer than 24 hours before the event starts or you do not show up for the event, you are not eligible to transfer the purchase to a different event.
Courtesy Policy - Please be courteous to your event runners and fellow guests. Arrive 20 minutes before the event starts so you do not interrupt the introduction. If you are not coming - contact us. Don’t join the trend of “no show - no notification” people.
Force Majeure Policy - Remember those horrible COVID lockdowns in 2020? In the event of restrictions imposed by governmental agencies which prohibit people gathering for the event (including, but not limited to lockdowns and other travel restrictions), you will be notified that the event is postponed. We will not be able to refund the purchase, but we will gladly work with you to move you into a future event once the situation allows.
